Upgraded to the latest Gallery 2.0, installed the PG theme, and updated all of the photos and uploaded them, taking a good day. These are what I think are my better photos. Of course, you can see the rest, both good and bad, on my flickr site.

Never been there other than the summer, and typically with coworkers from out of town or with friends. Went there with a bunch of friends from the Toronto Photography Meetup Group and spent most of the day there. Definetly a lot less people but that wind carrying the mist was pretty cold. Robin Fleguel emailed me a few days ago inquiring whether the Orillia Packet & Times newspaper could use a photo or two of mine from the Rally of the Tall Pines. Robin’s the codriver for the Martin Air Racing Team’s #17 Subaru WRX with Martin Donnelly at the wheel. So I sent Lacey, who wrote the article about him and the team, a few pictures and it was in today’s paper. Electronic version here. If the link is dead click on the thumbnail below.

So for those who don’t know, I join up with the Toronto Photography Meetup Group from time to time (haven’t been out with the group in a while actually) and have written two scripts to showcase some of the works here on our flickr site.

The first script shows random photos from a selected member each day, while the second script shows a random photo from the flickr group. All I know is that these flickr APIs are pretty nifty but my PHP skills are pretty rusty.

I personally like the second script, sort of has an exhibit appearance.
